New Arrow Comic Line Confirmed by DC

Weeks before we can finally watch Arrow Season 1 Episode 1 online, fans were already overwhelmed as they had an early treat when they learned that DC has confirmed that it will be publishing a new Arrow comic line to accompany the upcoming CW television series which will premiere this fall.

In a move that feels somewhat surreal, The CW and DC will work together once more on a comic book. If you can still remember, they currently collaborated on publishing the continuing adventures of the Clark Kent from the Smallville television serial which is now finished.

Before you can begin to watch Arrow Season 1 Episodes online starting on its premiere date on October 10, 2012, we will be giving you a brief information about the upcoming action adventure new superhero series.

This new, digital-only publication will follow the adventures of the character of Oliver Queen, role played by actor Stephen Amell, as he is portrayed in the new CW serial Arrow. This newest version of the character is actually loosely based on the DC character Green Arrow from the ongoing book of the same name.

The only difference is the fact that the Oliver from Arrow is a darker figure and it seems almost as if DC and CW took the personality of Nolan’s Batman and combined it with the story of Green Arrow. You will notice these differences when you watch Arrow Season 1Episode 1 online free, which is about to come very soon. Aside from that, they have also removed all of the costumes and nicknames from the story. Meaning, while it still features many DC universe characters, the show has none of the super hero or villain names we actually know. This episode is scheduled to air on October 10, 2012.
